Cotswold Lakes Trust is delighted to announce that Hoburne Cotswold has chosen the Trust as its Charity of the Year for 2025.
Hoburne’s charity fundraising will help to support Cotswold Lakes Trust’s frontline conservation work across the Cotswold Water Park, and their team is looking forward to working with Hoburne Cotswold throughout the year.
Hoburne Cotswold’s General Manager, Greg Nolan, shared his enthusiasm: “We’re really pleased to be supporting Cotswold Lakes Trust, as our chosen charity for 2025. We believe the work the Trust do to conserve and enhance the Cotswold Water Park is essential to our local community, benefitting not only the wildlife but also supporting tourism in the area. We’re looking forward to hosting lots of exciting fundraising events to raise as much as we can for this worthwhile charity to support their initiatives in the coming year.”
Davina Stirland, Marketing and Communications Manager at Cotswold Lakes Trust, emphasised the importance of this partnership: “The support from Hoburne Cotswold means so much to us. The Cotswold Water Park is a stunning wetland landscape with over 180 lakes across 42 square miles. Partnerships like this enable us to continue our vital charitable conservation work across the area. We would like to thank Greg and his team for choosing us as its Charity of the Year for 2025.”
The Cotswold Water Park is home to an amazing variety of wildlife and a host of leisure activities for its 20,000 residents and one million annual visitors. In 2021, it was recognised nationally as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Based in Down Ampney, Cotswold Lakes Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees (all volunteers) who oversee the work of a small team, assisted by loyal volunteers. It receives no core funding from central or local government and relies heavily on donations.
