The Ashton Keynes Community Shop (formerly Village Shop) was established as a community asset in 2010. The Management Committee is voluntary and made up of up to ten Shareholders elected annually at the AGM. The Shop is run by a dedicated team of local staff and volunteers, and operates on a not-for-profit basis.
The shop is open seven days a week and stocks a large range of everyday grocery and household items, including a large range of locally produced products, confectionery, alcohol, newspapers, cigarettes and a coffee machine.
Parking is available in the Village Hall car park behind the shop, or in the Playing Field car park, 200m along the road.
As well a full range of grocery we sell milk from Cotteswold Dairy, local free-range eggs and a great range of bread from Hobbs House Bakery.
We have wines and spirits at very competitive prices (ready-chilled from our fridge) as well as local and international beers and ciders.
Sandwiches and snacks for a perfect picnic (even chilled wine in 250ml cans). Tasty local bacon and croissants for your holiday breakfast. Corn-fed whole chicken and a range of quality meats for dinner.
We also have a bean-to-cup drinks machine, so you can get your choice of great coffee or tea.
