Cotswold Retreats is headed by a husband-and-wife team who started a holiday lettings firm with just one lodge in September 2019. Tracey and Lee Kelly are now managing around 60 luxury properties across Gloucestershire.
Cotswolds Retreats properties are based on the Cotswold Lakes, very close to Cirencester, the Capital of the Cotswolds. We have a range of places that sleep between 4 and 8 people and as many of our holiday homes are pet friendly, your four-legged friends don’t need to miss out.

All of our Hot tubs are situated on Hoburne Cotswold Holiday Park and come with passes to use the pools and entertainment on site. The park is set around four beautiful lakes. Calm, still and serene, the main lake is simply breath taking.
The Cotswold Lakes area is one of the fastest growing tourist areas in the UK, the Cotswold Lakes has for a long time been a best kept secret and it seems that the secret is out and it is now becoming a major tourist destination!
South of Cirencester and north of Swindon the Cotswold Lakes covers just over 40 square miles. The whole area which is made up of 180 different lakes, a series of lovely old Cotswold villages, the infant Thames is a haven for a wonderful array of wildlife and leisure activities.
We also offer accommodation in a luxury 18th century, 2-bedroom Cotswold-stone cottage, minutes from the main square of Stow on the Wold. “Why Not” has a Cosy living room with a casual dining area, stylish bright kitchen, and Sleeps 4 over 2 bedrooms.
Hoburne Cotswold Holiday Park is set inside The Cotswold Lakes.
Hoburne has an outdoor heated pool (seasonal) and the recently renovated indoor leisure pool complete with flume, sauna and steam room. There’s a mini gym, soft play, nature trail, tennis, adventure golf, multi sports court, an amusement arcade and more to keep the whole family entertained.
The park is set around four beautiful lakes. Calm, still and serene, the main lake is simply breath taking.
All our stays on Hoburne include passes for you to access the majority of the Hoburne facilities, with additional fees for Crazy Golf, Pedaloes and Kart Hire.
Just half a mile down the road from Hoburne, you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the Cotswold Lakes with a stay at the New England-style holiday houses on Windrush Lake. These idyllic holiday homes surround three natural, reed-edged lakes, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting for your family-friendly and pet-friendly holiday.
The grounds boast exceptionally well-manicured gardens and a wide variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Take advantage of the resort’s plethora of activities, including tennis courts, a children’s adventure playground, football, croquet, la boules, table tennis, and a games room. Lake Pochard as a base, offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors of the Cotswold Lakes with water sports, fishing, cycling, bird watching and walking. The vibrant market town of Cirencester is a 15 minute drive away, and has an array of independently owned and unique shops and cafes.
