On a sheltered private lake set in the beautiful Cotswold Lakes at South Cerney, Lakeside Ski and Wake offers wakeboarding and waterskiing for beginners to experts plus fun inflatable rides.
Everything you need is included with safe, professional expert tuition and the latest equipment. There is an on-site bar and restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner plus coffees and snacks throughout the day.

Our private wakeboarding lake is long and sheltered, offering a consistent ride in almost all-weather conditions. Our professional coaches will have you up and out of the water in no time. We teach wakeboarding from age 6 and up, so why not start off with one of our wakeboarding beginner courses – you’ll get one to one tuition and exclusive use of our private lake with no other boats operating. We take care of all the equipment you need. We do ask that participants are able to swim 25 metres.

Feel free to bring along some friends to ride in the boat and watch the action.
To get the best from a wakeboarding session you should be able to deep water start and ride in a stable position within the boat wake. If not, we recommend one of our beginner’s wakeboarding lessons
Beginners to improvers
Our beginner waterski lessons are designed to get you off to a great start.
At our calm, sheltered lake we have everything that you need. We offer one to one individual tuition, and our friendly experienced British Waterski Federation qualified coaches will ensure you progress waterskiing and have some fun.
Our waterski lessons are designed to give you the best chance of a successful start to your waterskiing. You’ll need to book in advance, so we can tailor sessions to your personal needs.
We welcome water skiers of all ages and standards, from improvers who have tried waterskiing before, to expert slalom and trick skiers. More information here.
We offer super exciting rides for all the family and groups of friends aged from 6 – 106!
Wing it on the Stringray, Go doughnuts on the Ringos or head for outer space on the UFO! These inflatables are a real blast for up to 4 riders at a time.

Stingray where the U-shape allows effortless crossing of the wakes, and the rocking motion adds a lot of excitement.
UFO where you can enjoy a ride…you just sit on it like a giant sofa. The cushioned sides and back make it perfect for kids of all ages and it can be driven to suit gentle tourist or avid thrill-seeker. Ringos (AKA Doughnuts)
Exciting rides for up to 2 people at a time with each person sitting in their own inflatable tube (or doughnut) Plenty of splashes and loads of fun for all ages!
