Situated on the water’s edge at De Vere Cotswold Water Park, The Old Boathouse is a destination within its own right.
Once inside, you’ll be greeted with an interior thoughtfully curated in keeping with the natural surroundings in hues of blue with tasteful wooden furniture – note the boat hanging from the ceiling! Choose to sit towards the back of the restaurant, where floor to ceiling windows offer breath-taking views over the lake. If the weather is fair, there’s no better place for al fresco dining underneath the decking’s awning.
Now serving delicious Italian-inspired menus for both lunch and dinner, the chefs at The Old Boathouse make the most of fresh local, seasonal produce. With feature dishes such as slow-braised lamb shank, salmon and prawn linguini and 21-day dry aged steak not to mention our bestselling fish and chips which uses local Hawkstone IPA in the batter!
The Old Boathouse has just launched a new set lunch menu from just £22.50 for 2 courses midweek; the ideal excuse for a catch up with friends or colleagues over a glass of wine. This menu offers a selection of their customer’s favourite dishes, including The Old Boathouse fish and chips and lasagne verdi with tiramisu and dark chocolate fondant as decadent dessert options.
Over at the bar, there is a wide range of wines, beers and spirits, as well as cocktails, Prosecco and Champagne. Be sure to enquire with the bartender, as The Old Boathouse often serves limited edition seasonal cocktails which simply aren’t to be missed.
Family Sunday lunches are served from midday every Sunday with delicious roasts starting from just £17. We recommend booking your Sunday lunch well in advance to avoid any disappointment!
The Old Boathouse is a dog-friendly restaurant, and offers guests dining with their four-legged friends tables in a separate area to the rest of the diners. If the sun is shining, dogs are welcome on the decking area too.
